But the biggest issue they are avoiding is their true feelings for each other. The dual point of view story provides insight into the characters inner thoughts. Avery Flynn has created a variety of fun characters with a few twists from the expected characteristics of the fantasy staples. This was a quick little read and although it is the second book of a series, it can be read as a standalone. This fun novel includes all the best tropes. If you like enemies to lovers, grumpy/sunshine, fake marriage and only one bed, then you will love this spicy, steamy, paranormal story.
